The Curator – Founding Member Donation

The Curator Donation | $72 for 2026 – The Founding Skein

Our premier giving level for founding supporters.

Your Impact: This level of support directly funds our national shipping program, allowing us to send donation bags to crafters everywhere at no cost to them. Your generosity provides yarn, notions, and needles to individuals and organizations creating essential items for community service—such as hospice blankets, preemie hats, and Izzie dolls. Furthermore, it supplies underprivileged individuals with the materials needed to learn how to knit or crochet.

Founding Member Recognition & Influence:

• Legacy Recognition: As a Founding Member, your name will be featured on our “Founders Skein Wall” on the website (unless you prefer to remain anonymous).

• Shape the Future: You will be invited to our 2027 Planning Session, giving you a direct say in how we expand our mission, select new fiber categories, and grow the project next year.

Our Thanks to You:

• Fiber Choice: Specify your preferred fiber family for your thank-you gifts.

• June & September: Receive full skein of your fiber choice PLUS a matching hand-crafted mini Scrappy Cake to see what the fuss is all about

• Monthly Connection: In all other months, we’ll send a token of our gratitude, such as an exclusive digital pattern, a boutique notion, or a special discount code.

The Fine Print

• IRS 501(c)(3) Status: This is a donation to The Scrappy Project. You will receive an official IRS 501(c)(3) acknowledgement letter for your records.
